When I set out on my journey to become a video producer… finding experience was hard! Opportunities were slim and my portfolio was struggled to stand out.
Fortunately though, while I was browsing on indeed for part time work, I came across an advert that had been written by a very talented Football Freestyler named John Farnworth. Who was currently looking for a voluntary Video Producer for his YouTube Channel. So… I upped up the courage, sent in my application and before I knew it. I was in a Bolton’s Starbucks with a hot chocolate, having a chat with him about the role.
So as you can probably tell, John offered me this opportunity and I’ve been producing with him ever since. Anyway… this page link is a full retrospective of that. This honestly is one of my proudest case studies, as it tells the whole story and it shows how I’ve evolved as a video producer.
As of today, the channel has now surpassed 100,000 subscribers and is continuing to grow. After a long hiatus due to covid, we're about to recommence our long form video projects. Which I cannot wait to start back up.
I don’t have the words to express how thankful I am of John and the opportunity. I don’t just consider him a client of mine, he’s a true friend. And in my opinion… that’s best the kind of working relationship you can create!
