OVERVIEW
In the research, I have found that most American families are pinched for time to spend together, and dinner may be the only time of the day when we can reconnect, leaving behind our individual pursuits like playing with technology, working, having extra-curricular activities and doing homework. Dinner is a time to relax, recharge, laugh, tell stories and catch up on the day’s ups and downs, while developing a sense of who we are as a family. The question is, where did we get away from spending that special family bonding time? And how does the mingling with one another affect us physically, mentally, and emotionally?

GOALS AND FORMAT
The goals and format for this project will reveal where on the timeline we created this imbalance of not bonding with our loved ones. The research and data collected have brought more into the light of how the family dynamic has evolved over time due to wars, convenience, and the demand of more jobs. Showing the data collected by print gives you a historical sense of how we developed a unison to where it broke off for more independence.
