THE DARK SIDE OF FAIRY TALES
BRIEF:
This is an editorial project i made for the class of editorial graphics at Accademia Cappiello (FI).
I had to create a Brothers Grimm’s Monography and to represent the dark side of three of their tales: Hansel and Gretel, Snow white and Sleeping beauty.
The name of the series is “Grim” (gloomy, horrid, cruel).
The subtitle i chose is “ The dark side of fairy tales"

CONCEPT:
This book in which i rapresented these tales through the projected shadows. These shadows show us the dark and creepy side of seemingly quiet tales. The colors i decided to use are black and white for the illustrations and dark colors for the duble exposures to mark this concept.
