Purpose: To incorporate the stylistic elements of 1960’s psychedelic art and hand-drawn lettering styles focusing on both technical and artistic skills as well as historical accuracy regarding color and shape.

Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, etc.): I used Adobe Illustrator for this project. The primary tool I used in this project was the envelope distort tool with a mesh. I used the anchors and handles to warp the text into a vaguely 60's psychedelic look. I also made heavy use of the gradient tool to find the text coloring that I liked.

Color Theory: I used analogous colors on the "warm side of the color wheel. The colors I used were as follows:
