Purpose: The function of this project was to further develop my thinking skills as well as advance in typography styles and communicate ideas verbally and visually. I incorporated the stylistic elements of 1960’s psychedelic art as well as hand-drawn lettering styles.  I also focused my technical and artistic skills and worked towards historical accuracy regarding color and shape fro this specific project.

Process: I researched many 60s Psychedelic Posters on Pinterest as well as Google and took the new knowledge with me to create my artworks.

Color Theory: "Led Zeppelin" ~ triadic colors of purple, yellow/orange and green; "The Beatles" ~ split complementary of orange, yellow and purple
