Project Phoenix

This project was made out of the idea of me coming back from years of not doing any kind of artwork. This is more of an inspirational practice. The lovely lady that I painted is my dearest friend, Ysabel Rayo. She symbolizes herself as a Phoenix that really inspired me.

This is a combination of vector and digital painting. I tried experimenting effect dynamics back then while also maintaining good quality for print. I had this printed on a large tarpaulin displayed at home.

Way back when I was studying, we had an activity that required us to design a character, make a costume for it and present it in an organized Cosplay event. This is my take since the concept was "Circus". I draw and scanned then colored it on Photoshop.
