Logo & Identity System
I participated in this year's Cleveland GiveCamp, where developers and designers volunteered their time & skills to non-profits in need. The project I was assigned to was Galvin Therapy who needed a new website for their non-profit: The Galvin Education & Resource Center for Families. They help families who have children with disabilities learn how to cope and how to improve their lives. They are a non-profit organization in Warrensville Heights, OH.

They needed a new website to replace their 15 year old site that was hard-coded and impossible for them to edit content. Our solution was to create a Wordpress site for them that would be easy to use. They also had very little branding, so that was my main responsibility on the team. I created a logo for GERCF, color palette, business cards and helped decide the look of the website. They wanted a logo that was fun and inviting since they focus on helping children. To achieve this I created an organic logo that was free flowing and tried to represent the idea of offering protection and help to those in need. The color palette is a bright and cheerful one and I kept the typography clean and straight forward.
