This neckpiece was designed to reflect the colors and form of a collection of sea creatures known as Marrus Orthocanna, the Fiery Colony. Like the colony, the collar is composed of several different parts ranging from seed beads, acrylic cabochons, canvas, leather, brass, and sequins. Though built on a flat surface, the different materials combine together to create depth and a plethora of textures as well as movement.
