Nobody really knew where the original logo for DAST consulting came from, they just knew that they hated it. It was spoken of in hushed tones when David wasn't around. David, the owner of the company was its last fan. Many had unsuccessfully tried to change it, and all had failed. Until one of his worst technicians decided to take a stab at it.

David really liked the concept. He had three companies nestled under one umbrella and after several concepts, it became clear that he wasn't going to go for anything that wasn't in the vein of the original. I updated the font and the colors, re-illustrated the badge and kept it simple. David told me when I presented this to him that many had failed at this task. Unfortunately, the logo only lasted about 2 months before the company was purchased and the DAST brand was laid to rest.

Below are a one-pager, a thank you card (note the grey isn't printed, its embossed), and an ad placed in Chatard Highschool's football programs.
