Dolls for a remake of the animation film ''El Empleo" directed by Santiago ''Bou" Grasso.
Graduation project represents decorations and dolls for the remake of the animation film "El Empleo" . This project consists of 3 dolls, witch are which are stylistically in tune with scenery and emphasize the semantic content of the story. Due to theirs plasticity they can be shot in stop-motion animation.
All dolls are animation puppets. Arms, hands, waist and legs are made of wire. Eyes move by the slight touch of a needle. Body and head are made of papier-mâché, cotton hair, cotton shirts, textile and faux fur boots, Bejamin's beanie made of newspaper, wife's keys are plastic. Painted in acryl.

Wife is "a hanger" in the cartoon. Her carefull hairstyle, simple clothes emphasize boring work she has and her dead-level life. Her existence is to serve her husband. We see her keeping keys in her mouth and umbrella, and a coat in her hands, and no other role for the wife in the plot is intended - only to be "a hanger."
Here we can see the doll as a torchere-shaped man. The image of the man serving another person as simple everyday item - stressed allegory to help trace the idea and meaning of the cartoon. The torchiere-doll deliberately emphasizes its role - elongated shape with narrow sloping shoulders, long neck, a simple suit with a bow tie to match the shade, which serves as his "head".
The main character represents the simple average man, hard worker, brought up the system, quietly doing his duty, making a living. Simple clothing, short hair, sparse mustache, calm slow movements emphasize his fatigue from monotonous, boring life. In the story the hero lives in the most ordinary apartment with his wife. Taking advantage of people i.e everyday objects, which act as people, he is doing to he goes to the office to do his duty.
