Paper Creatures
Exhibition in the Jaffa Museum, Tel Aviv, Israel, curated by Ilan Garibi alongside paper artists whose work I admire, like amazing popup artist Robert Sabuda, origami artist João Charrua, just to name some of the 32 exhibiting artists.

For this exhibition, I wanted to create something new, so I had an idea to combine the 4 elements: fire, water, earth and air. My aim was to create an unusual combination of two elements at a time, to create a creature that I haven’t seen before. This is coming from my love of fantasy literature and the love of nature.

Elemental I: Fire and Water
This sculpture combines the phoenix for fire and the octopus for water into a creature that bas the upper body of the fiery phoenix, and the lower body of an octopus. The colors reflect the chosen elements, and suit the selected creatures at the same time.

Elemental 2: Earth and Air
This sculpture combines the lizard for earth and the peacock for air into a creature that bas the upper body of the lizard, and the lower body, and colorful tail of the peacock. The colors reflect the chosen elements, and suit the selected creatures at the same time.
