Demo Reels: 3D Modeling and Animation
Collection of 3D animations primarily used to display photos, video clips, or other information in a stylish video format to be customized and dropped into any desired future project.
A short animation to use as a four-point slide template, dubbed the "Gyro-Compass 4-Slide" to be customized and dropped into any video project whenever needed. I customized many of the "materials", especially the gold for the rings. My favorite aspect to work with was the dimpled glass, playing with transparencies, shadows, and refractions through it. It was created by Adam THEO in 2012 using Zaxwerks ProAnimator within approximately 20 work hours.
Animation of three slides to display either still images or video clips, dubbed the "SNA Shield 3-Slide" for use in SWONET's annual Surface Navy Association coverage. The logo was merely a medium-resolution raster graphic that I converted to a high-resolution vector image then again converted into a 3D model, animating it with rotating compass-shaped glass stars and the floating frames. Created by Adam THEO using Adobe Illustrator and Zaxwerks in 2012 within approximately 15 work hours..
Short animated 3D graphic to show clusters of locations on a map without wasting space by showing the entire map, dubbed the "Wobbly Map". It is subtly animated with wobbling to draw enough attention to the components without being distracting. Created by Adam THEO using Zaxwerks and Photoshop CS5 in 2012 within 8 work hours.
Unfinished demo of an animated "Timeline" template intended to display either still photos or video clips in a chronological sequence with an accompanying date and text caption. I was trying to get ahead of any future needs, since in the past I could have used such a timeline, but had to resort to more hackish solutions due to time pressure. Created by Adam THEO using Zaxwerks in 2012 in my spare time.
