Hamar Game Collective is a special organization based in Norway. Essentially it is a community formed of game development companies, all sitting together under one roof, sharing knowledge among themselves and promoting game development in the area.
Challenge: The previous logo had visibility issues at small sizes. The numerous colours were a challenge when printing promotional assets. At the same time the leadership felt like the growing plant no longer represented them after several years of activity.
Solution: The design process was a very difficult one, as several companies needed to agree on it. The result was meant to take advantage of the fact that among the local community, they are referred to by the short "HGC". At the same time it tried to subtly, but joyfully give a nod to the world of games, be they 3D or 2D.
