Project Light Play

Light Play is a hand held device for PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) alongside autism that can provide an interactive and responsive toy to help them relax and take in the sensory outputs.

The Light Play fits snugly in the hand and encourages the user to click any one of the buttons, resulting in a tactile click of the buttons along with the corresponding colour illuminating the translucent housing.

The Light Toy can provide tactile response to ease the urge to fidget within autistic children along with some adults. The responsive light within the housing provides visual stimulation for those with PMLD making them explore the world and all its senses further.
