La Lune, the brand name, originates from the Chinese ci poem "Dignified Ci" by Li Yifu, a renowned Chinese poet and a chancellor of the Chinese dynasty Tang Dynasty. The idea of the visual identity also cames from the quote from "Dignified Ci":

" Engrave the moon for a singing fan.
Cut out clouds for a dancing dress."

We extended the imagination beyond the fan and linked it to the abstract image of the key commodity of La Lune, a gem.
