The 5 POINTS area was aptly named because of the 5 cross streets that formed a patch of land called PARADISE SQUARE. In contrast to its name this area was the epicenter of violence that was destroying downtown NYC. At a time when everyone felt like a fighter this design includes a star similiar to modern day generals and a "cape" as a nod to past gladiators.
