A poster for " La Guarimba Film Festival".
The client required to use Monkey as the key element, and present their slogan "bring people back to the cinema and the cinema to the people" in Chinese, so i condense it to "还影于众“，"影“ means reflection and movie(little pun), therefore i draw a real moon instead of reflection in traditional Chinese fairy tale "The Monkey Grasp moon".
I tried to keep the whole image in traditional Chinese painting style, as well as the frame, in the text part, i use the digital brush to imitation the Chinese Calligraphy in order to create a different visuality.
