What does design do? How do you depict it using a visual and a word?
INITIAL EXPLORATIONS
My argument for using 'Synesthesia' is that, for me, design is inducing a cross over of senses. Intel inside has been successful in creating a sensory fusion with a powerful musical logo, and a memorable visual one, joined in a way that seeing/hearing either brings to mind the company as a unit. Therefore,
Design is Synesthesia
What you see, hear and taste, you truly believe. Design holds this infinite capacity to combine our senses and therefore influences our decisions, knowingly or unknowingly every step of the way. To take this concept ahead, I chose the medium of packaging and have designed surreal headphones for the company of Bose.
