Internally Displaced Person (IDP)s in Pakistan
According to UNHCR, internally displaced persons (IDP) are people or groups of individuals who have been forced to leave their homes or places of habitual residence, in particular as a result of, or in order to avoid the effects of armed conflict, situations of generalized violence, violations of human rights or natural-or human-made disasters, and who have not crossed an international border.
In Pakistan, as of 2016, more than 86,000 families, that is more than 1.8million people have been facing this issue.
The following two posters are call-to-action step for an NGO that aims to rehabilitate the families displaced by insurgency, counter-insurgency and other related violence in Pakistan.
