Supporting South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup

We're Getting Ready !
A tribute to "our" Didier Drogba. We're all proud of him !

Didier is the only footballer in the World's 100 Most Influential People by Time magazine.
A great reward for the Ivory Coast captain, 40 days before the World Cup kick-off. What a sensation ! Honoured in the highly attended World's 100 Most Influential People by Time magazine, Didier is the one and only footballer to feature in this list, in the "Heroes" category, alongside golf player Phil Mickelson and tenniswoman Serena Williams.
The Abidjan native even joins former American president Bill Clinton and pop singer Lady Gaga on the cover of the famous US weekley newspaper. There is no surprise to see the Ivory Coast captain in this position 40 days before the South African World Cup, the first ever on Africain soil, but it’s not only because of his football skills, even is Didier is described in the Time Magazine article as "the body of an NBA star with feet as nimble as a prima ballerina's."
"I'd like the country to ultimately be able to deal with political problems itself, he said. It's not really good to depend on the win or defeat of the national team. That means there is something wrong." His commitment during his country civil war in 2006 and all the humanitarian work he achieves, particularly throughout his Foundation, are also saluted.
A great recognition, but also a stunning reward for the Ivorian and the African football.
