Branding

Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof

In the middle of 2016, we were asked to invent a new corporate design and visual language for the Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof. Located in an old railway station from 1897 in Harburg, this has been a place for celebrating art for nearly 20 years. The Kunstverein was founded in 1999 by local artists Udo Dettmann and René Havekost with generous support by Dr. Dieter Bobbert and Dr. Martin Kippenberger.

We’ve designed a logo, which builds a twinkling reference to trains and railways and the actually short distance between the two metropolitan cities Hamburg and Harburg. The logo reacts dynamically to different contexts. It resizes, shrinks, expands and compresses.

The Website

Likewise the new website, designed and developed by us, is consequently responsive in nature. The website now gives easy access to the full catalog of past, recent and future exhibitions at the Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof.
