I wanted to create something that would acknowledge that fact that even from the little some of us have, you can still rise to the top of whatever you desire. Usain Bolt was the perfect figure to achieve this goal. He comes from a village that had no running water until he fought his way to new world records. I want viewers to feel a since of pride when they look at this piece. The "Sometimes we must make do with the little we have." is actually a personal quote of mine.
