Mana Mind is a package design project for a Hawaiian juice company. Six unique labels were created for the various flavours along with a six pack container to house the bottles. The term ‘mana’ in Hawaiian translates to good health and energy which communicates the beneficial properties of the product towards one’s health. The logo designed for Mana Mind is a pineapple with a simplified face that mirrors that of the illustrations seen throughout the brand.
A vibrant colour palette for each of the bottles was used in order to convey the bright tropical setting of the Hawaiian islands. Individual tiki illustrations were created for each flavour and drawn stylistically to match the hand carved aesthetic of the traditional sculpted tikis. The conceptual name for each flavour is also given the name of a specific Hawaiian god. Polynesian patterns line each side of the drawing which help to further build on the cultural identity of the brand.
