I was asked very last minute to create a nice program card and menu for tables at a local event. They did not give any design directions or expectations except that they wanted nice layout. So let the fun begin! Starting with a series of colors and an organic symbol, I played around with some repeating patterns.
The symbol was manipulated in various ways to produce coordinating patterns and combinations for a variety of applications, some were used in the event presentation graphics, others in the prints.
The layout was designed to fit on a single, letter page, and given space for an even white border that was incorporated into the design. This design was easy to print on a home or office printer and required only one cut to be ready. This was all keeping in mind the urgency and ease of production.
This took a total of 2 days to complete, the first day spent on deciding color and creating the patterns, the second doing the layout and prints. Nothing fancy overall, just new design styles I've been wanting to try out! Thanks for reading!
