Tundra Swans arrive in March along with visitors and photographers.
Gathering daily, the flock teams into the thousands.
Honking begins, announcing a swirl of activity and suddenly the sky is filled with Tundra Swans and Snows Geese.
Landing is standing room only. The waters of Middle Creek spill over to crowded banks.
Along the finger like tributaries of Middle Creek, Canadian Geese find a more secluded space.
By May, Middle Creek is left to Great Blue Herons, Great White Egrets and Canadian Geese, along with an assortment of other fowl. Crowds are small. A stray photographer or two, adds the click of a shutter to the song of Middle Creek. Monarch Butterflies entertain along trails. Turtles chase May Flies. And flowers sway from Spring to Fall.
