VFX on The Order - A Look Back (Breaking Glass)
I first broke up the window in Maya (third image) and hand keyed the shards as a base for this effect. For me it was important to have a core that did not change and ensured certain beats / composition each time it was played. The second image shows the result in-game (with some un-final lighting). The final effect is achieved with lots of extra gpu particles as filler.
