"Ribbon" is a design for an educational center that uses one contuinuous plane to create opportunities for learning and play. Programatic spaces are housed underneath the ribbon and are created by shreading, folding, and bending the continuous plane. The spaces are made of frosted polycarbonate panels that filter light as it moves through the series of trusses that support the ribbon.
