John Jennings Art Talk Branding
This poster was created for the John Jennings lecture at Bowling Green State University. John Jennings is currently a professor of Media and Cultural Studies at UCR, and has written and done graphics for many novels. His graphic novels consist of all black characters which he is consistent with throughout all of his graphics and graphic novels. The design was combining John Jennings' style of integrating his African American characters with sci-fi elements. This work consisted of bitmap textures, scanned in text, and layer effects. The poster was also formatted as a slide to play on the TV screens around the BGSU campus and a banner.
