Free simple tool for font designers
When designing a font (especially cursives, scripts, and calligraphy) font designers wonder about common kerning pairs. However, the common kernings pairs can be different in other languages and we want the font to look great for ALL kernings pairs. This simple tool allows you to generate a list of kerning pairs you want to test your font on. You can copy/paste the output yourself, copy the output to the clipboard by clicking a button or download a .txt file with the list of the kerning pairs. To save you from typing there are shortcuts to adding lowercase and uppercase alphabet, numbers, and popular punctations.
Available output formats: plain text, FontLab, BirdFont, and FontForge.
