Medium: Mixed Media

Is the glass half full/half empty? Driven by the concept of conveying two sides of things with a visual, ‘Dark Waters’ uses water as a metaphor to explore the duality of the human perception on everyday life.
Dark Waters

Water, gentle enough to symbolise purification, rejuvenation and cleansing, yet strong enough to cause death and despair.

But water seen in our urban environment is often tinged with mud and silt, colouring it a brackish brown, or grey-green. It is however, still the same life-giving liquid, but tainted by the natural or urban reality.
