Cuban Dream

Taken by me during a trip to Cuba early this year, was recently featured by the editors at VSCO Arts and Culture as follows:

"I took this shot during a pre-sunrise walk in Havana, Cuba. I do this usually to avoid the crowds and to capture a specific type of light in my photographs. It's a light that is hard for the viewer to discern whether it's day or night. I came upon this vapor cloud rising from a crack in the road and immediately looked for a composition. A car quickly came around the corner and I noticed it's headlights started to light up the vapor. BINGO. I always find it amazing how it's impossible to predict what kinds of shots we will come back with at the end of a session. I usually don't come home until I get a shot I'm satisfied with."
