This was the final project for Color and Materials class for Fall 2016. The objective of this project was to analyse the existing Pratt Faculty Lounge and the adjacent hallway, and to propose a suitable concept that understood a soothing environment. For my proposal, I focused on emphasising a costal atmosphere by selecting wooden materials and bright upholstery. Furthermore, important considerations of the proposal was the clients, the acoustics and the experiential sequence that focuses on centralising energy through program and color definition.
