    The term Exformation refers to the common knowledge that all individuals in a society share, but is not expressed within daily communication. However, without this knowledge communication would be impossible. The concept behind this project is not to alienate the familiar, but to show it in a new way - 'Exformation - Local Environment' takes local icons, that are most common in typical Israeli cities - and brings them back to consciousness from a fresh perspective. The items I worked with were: curved window bars, white plastic shutters and mailboxes. Each group of items was first photographed, indexed and graphically analysed. Then, the graphic patterns extracted from the photos were combined together, cropped and ext., creating new exciting fabric patterns, to be used around the city and by thus completing the circle. The term Exformation refers to the common knowledge that all individuals in a society
share, but is not expressed within daily communication. However, without this knowledge communication would be impossible. The concept behind this project is not to alienate
