THE BRAND
Empty Ventures is venture  capital that will grow through acquisitions, investment opportunities and growth of businesses- with a focus on filling in what the brand refers to as the ‘void’. The void is the missing element. The x-factor that a startup lacks. Empty Ventures aims to fill in this void with support in the form of investment, legal support, strategy development and mentorship.

THE TASK
We were tasked to design the identity for Empty Ventures. We took a very minimal approach and developed a logo which is based on the idea of filling in the emptiness. The wordmark ‘empty’ sits in a circle which represents the void. The design language focuses on the idea of emptiness and therefore a lot of whitespace is seen throughout the visual language of the brand. We designed and developed a guideline for the stationeries, website, publications and how the brand communicates as a whole
