'ICONS' IS AN ATTMEPT TO REACH THE ESSENCE OF AN IMAGE – WHILST HALFWAY BETWEEN FIGURATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ABSTRACT. ONCE THE HUMAN PERCEPTION OF TIME AND SPACE IS REMOVED FROM EXPOSED REALITY, WHAT REMAINS IS AN ICON – A COMPLETE REPRESENTATION OF A THING.
'Icons' is an attempt to reach the essence of an image - halfway between figurative photography and abstract. Once the human perception of time and space is lifted from exposed reality, what remains is an Icon - a 'complete' representation of a thing.
