As a portrait and fashion photographer J. Konrad Schmidt loves telling sensuous stories, focusing on female protagonists. The old world ambience of Café Paris, the legendary French bistro in the heart of Hamburg, lent itself perfectly to a project he had in mind.

Our team in Berlin was briefed to enhance the richness of the milieu, especially the gold, green and red tones, and after a few rounds of email exchanges during the retouching process Konrad stopped by at the studio for some final tweaks. 

With close attention to props and styling during the preparation for the shoot, the series radiates an atmosphere of 1920s decadence and indulgence.
