The main aim of this project is to share the process of this age old craft with the people by making it an experience they would love to come back for. The design helps people
understand the art more closely byexposing to them each part of the process in stages.
The bread making process involves 5 stages, namely:
Kneading > Molding > Baking > Shaving > Supply

The two keywords involved in this design are Kneading + Rising which further gives rise to Compression & Expansion. The space ‘compressed and expanded’ by contrasting these and by two opposites dramatically to give the customer a full fledged intake of all the happenings in the space. The intentional play of levels throughout the design helps achieve optimum interaction between spaces, as well as reveal the different processes of the baking to customers making it a ore exciting journey through the shop.
