Formalizing  Structures through Architecture : A Typography Book

I designed this book for my Typography course in design school. It is based on the Architectural elements of columns, rows and grids. It is a visual study of typography through architecture where lines, vertical and horizontal blocks, shapes and columns are represented in type forms.

We were only allowed to use three colors for this project and thinking of type in architectural elements have been a great creative challenge that forced me to think outside of the box where I started noticing shapes before I noticed typography when looking at typefaces. This practice also enhanced my imagination in many ways.
