Doubt in Society
The violation of customary rules, or the orderly way of doing things are often dictated by the social norms that we have all been accustomed to. Eyebrows are raised when certain standards of classifications do not match up to the way we see or believe. Often, it becomes an obsession to follow certain guidelines that we as individuals have conformed to. In ‘The Right Place’, this short film neutralises unfamiliar situations and habits of doing things using objects.
The Right Place
What defines an object? In this short film, objects are defined based on their physical placement. The object is unaltered, but is viewed upon differently because of its environment. It is the human usage of things that makes it an object - an object of what they are, and how they should be. Using objects, this short film try to confuse or contradict social paradigms.
