This project is aimed at producing a promotional poster. it must (1) grab the viewers attention (2) engage them (3) inform them. A poster that promotes the Degree Show Exhibition for BA hons Graphic Design. It must be A2 in its longest dimension. A rework of the design must also be executed as an opening-night invitation at one third A4 to fit into DL envelope.
I chose to do ink work for my poster design as I felt it related the university well, in terms of the university having a lot of faculties for print based work and being keen on print work. Overall I produced over 100 original ink paintings and then found it challenging to pick the final poster, however I decided to submit the first black ink poster.
