This boutique chocolate company from Nepal is devoted to creating high-quality delicacies using natural flavors. Our Nepali artisans hand make our specialty paper used in all packaging. Each flavor was thoughtfully chosen to boost an aspect of an individual's mental health.
Strategy
I was inspired to create this company after researching the city of Kathmandu, Nepal. Known for exporting handmade crafts especially paper, this city places a huge importance on artisan craft. Handmade materials and products had to be at the center of this brand. In order to incorporate hand-made elements, I created my own shimmery paper by mixing metallic paints and painting bristol paper. Painted marks are used as branding elements and colors were chosen to be reminiscent of the Hindu temples in Nepal.
Finally, I wanted the end consumer to encounter the time put into making this product. In order to open this packaging, the consumer must pause as they pull down the first layer and pull up the inner layer. In between the layers is a line about the significance and benefit of each flavor.
