New Feminists for Justice Fundraising Campaign Tee

Tee Shirt Fundraising Campaign
for New Feminists for Justice, Syracuse, New York
Lady Liberty in red, white and blue.
Design mock-ups were created so the NFFJ members could vote on their favorite designs.
"Nevertheless, she persisted" is a phrase that captured the minds of people across the US and became a rallying cry for progressive activists.

Quickly, merchandise from a wide range of sources started to come on to the market- the NFFJ wanted a design for their first fundraising effort that included the quote and that was an eye-catching, unique design that members and supporters would be proud to wear.

A bold, modern take on the design.
A single color design allows for more inexpensive printing, the white worked well against black and purple, the two most requested tee colors.
New Feminists for Justice are a diverse group of women and men who aim to protect the rights of woman, workers, immigrants and refugees, defend the environment, and demand equality for all under the law.

They work to accomplish those goals through grassroot efforts such as rallies, demonstrations and direct action with the public.

The tee-shirt fundraising campaign was put in motion by one of NFFJ's founders, Donna Moore to raise money to cover the cost of our website, event permits, hall rentals for events and PA equipment for events.
There were requests for a text-only option as well.
This was the first draft. It was well received, and feedback from the group helped to refine and shape the design.
The fund-raising campaign was launched via Bonfire and will be running until March 12th, 2017.  https://www.bonfire.com/donnas-campaign-81/
