Once considered the greatest entertainment complex ever built in Baltimore, the Mayfair Theater is now an abandoned eyesore from decades of neglect and a fire that reduced it to a charred hulk. Few passing it today would guess of its grandeur when it was constructed in 1902.
I propose a zine project about this West Baltimore historical building to examine and juxtapose its splendid past with its sordid present.
