Back-to-School Supply Drive Benefits Illinois Families
A transportation solutions professional with more than three decades of experience in the industry, Perry Mandera is the president and founder of The Custom Companies in Northlake, Illinois. Perry Mandera also founded a charitable arm of the company known as Custom Care Charities, which supports organizations such as the Walter & Connie Payton Foundation (WCPF). The foundation’s 2017 Back-to-School Supply Drive is underway.

The annual Back-to-School Supply Drive benefits families and schools across Illinois in need of supplies for upcoming school semesters. Supplies are collected through collaboration with businesses and generous individuals who host local drives at an assortment of locations. The supplies are delivered to WCPF warehouses, where volunteers sort them and load them into backpacks. WCPF distributes these to families and schools at the end of the drive, with a one-backpack-per-child policy.

In addition to collecting supplies, the Back-to-School Drive accepts donations to purchase supplies not obtained through direct-item donations. For more information, visit www.payton34.com/school-supply-drive.
