Collection OU is designed to symbolize the binding relationship between pen and ink. This collection includes 4 vases and trays designed for stationery storage, specifically LAMY fountain pens and LAMY ink bottles of either 50 or 30ml volumes. Each item is available in multiple color options; formed as a single part, injection molded ABS plastic and finished with a fine sanding process to achieve a smooth durable surface.
The ‘OU’ identity is uniquely derived from the simplified image of a LAMY pen and ink bottle.
From the ‘OU’ identity, emerges distinct forms that support both the accessibility and individuality of LAMY fountain pens.
We made numerous prototypes with various materials to verify the exact size of products. wood, chemical wood, ABS and PLA were used with CNC machine and 3D-printers.
