Slēk started as a school project when I was in college. The assignment was to create a fictitious company, design a logo for it, and create some sort of packaging. I wanted to create a clothing company as I have always been a fan of fashion apparel. My original thought was to create a company that specialized in "sophisticated streetwear" trademarked by its minimal design, targeted towards males ages 18-34. I would have actually loved to turn it in to something tangible. Now as I revisit the idea, I envision Slēk to be more of an online marketplace that sells the trendiest streetwear from other brands, as well as its own branded clothing.
