Tourism Montreal: SORRY

Tourism Montréal
Montréal turned 375 in 2017. And Canada turned 150.
But the City of Montréal was putting $25 million into throwing a year long celebration so they needed to make sure tourists came to visit. Especially from their neighbouring cities, Toronto & New York.  So we created the most Canadian tourism campaign of all time: In order to convince our neighbours to come join the party, we would first need to apologize - for the loud, boisterous celebration they would soon be hearing from 600 km away.
We launched the campaign in Toronto, with a door-to-door-to-Dundas Square apology featuring 3 local comedians and bloggers. We then asked Montréal's most celebrated former citizen to do the apologizing for us in New York.
William Shatner said yes. Then he said 'Sorry'. A lot.
