What's Your Plan B?

„Prepare for the plan B“ - said the doctor. My father was waiting for a heart transplant. Every year in Lithuania 20 people die while waiting for an organ transplant. At least 400 people are constantly waiting for a transplant, while around 100 transplantations are carried out each year. This topic is relevant not only locally but also globally.

The message is about the will of a dead person to allow his or her organs and tissues to be used in this way. The question is why family members experience fear, mistrust of doctors and the feeling that they have become owners of the body of someone close to them. This project considers which design tools can be used for appropriate and acceptable form of communication for a donor's will.

We are always ready to receive, but are we eager to give?
