"Haru In Battle" Bronze Sculpture

This sculpture is one of my best works I've created. I think it shows how versatile I can be, from animation to doing bronze casting. The character Haru started off as a doodle in 2007 and has developed as I've grown, as an artist.
I took a sculpting class for Spring Quarter 2012 at Bellevue College. I've never done any sculpting before this class. When I found out about the final project, I had a tough time deciding from the endless possibilities. In the end, I chose to make Haru into a bronze sculpture because he means something to me. He grows as I grow in a sense.
