Live Oak Lounge
I was contacted by the good folks at Live Oak, who were in the process of getting an upscale bar in lounge off the ground and were in need of a logo. The mark needed to reflect the elegant upscale attitude of the lounge, as well as possible depicting a live oak tree. Working with film noir influences and pencil drawings provided by the bar's owner, I came up with multiple solutions the final being a comfortable middle ground between the two strongest designs. My favorite portion of working on this project was developing custom type, not to mention researching all the great type that film noir movie titles have to offer. If you find yourself in Ft.
